אולפן בית ראשון במולדת
"ביום ד' 24.2.2010 התקיים מבחן עברית בכתב שהוא גם היום האחרון של האולפן בחבל איילות . זה הוא יום מיוחד בחיי העולים. מעבר למבחן, הם מסכמים את תקופת הקליטה הראשונה ומבטאים את תוכניותיהם להמשך הדרך. תאמינו, ההחלטות האלו הן לא קלות להם, אבל לשמחתנו רובם עומדים בכל מבחני החיים האלה בהצלחה.
ביקשתי מחלק מן העולים תגובה לגבי שלב קליטה ראשון. שאלתי את אותן 3 שאלות:
- מה הכי אהבת מהתקופה הראשונה?
- מה הכי לא אהבת?
- האם היית ממליץ לעולים אחרים על התכנית?

The whole Bait Rishon program has been an amazing experience; I would say the highlight has been meeting some amazing people who I knew will be life long friends here in Israel.
I think, like with any pilot scheme there are going to be some organizational problems. All in all there is nothing I can say I strongly disliked.
I would definitely recommend this program to others. I think that as an initial 6 month introductory period in Israel, the Bait Rishon program has allowed me to feel as though I have a purpose and a structure to my day. Attending ulpan whilst also being committed to working at the kibbutz has managed to not only keep me busy but additionally given me the opportunity to meet and integrate with kibbutz members.
I liked the program because for me coming to Israel alone could have been a very difficult and challenging experience, however, it was made so easy for all of us, because there was always someone to help us with whatever we needed, and it made us feel very welcome and assured in our new home.
There was not anything that genuinely bothered me about the course, the only thing I could say was that for people coming from a big city the isolation can sometimes be frustrating and takes a while to get used to.
I think that in general the Bait Rishon is a good program, and contributed greatly to the "soft and easy landing" in Israel. It enables you to learn Hebrew and live in a relatively stress free environment. I would recommend to anyone wanting to participate in the program to make sure they have enough money to live on besides the salklita you will receive because it helps but it is not enough to live in a lifestyle that you may be accustomed too in your country or origin.
The program is a good way to immigrate to Israel. You have a house and a program set up for you when you arrive. Ulpan is arranged for you and you are taken there – all you have to do is learn Hebrew.
Being in the desert, away from cities with job potential has been difficult. I do wish we were closer to facilities where there are job options. Kibbutz was a bit isolating.
Highly recommend for young people without career options who want to make a life in Israel. But you must be willing to learn Hebrew to be part of Israeli community.
אני רוצה בהזדמנות הזאת להביע את התודה וההוקרה במאמץ שנעשה על ידי המועצה האזורית חבל אילות ובעיקר יהודית ומטי ומזכירי יהל, לוטן ויטבתה, כדי לצור אווירה של בית אמיתי ומשפחה שיודעת לקבל גם כשלא הכל 100% בסדר.
אנחנו ממשיכים לשלב השני – 2 עולים מיהל עברו לאילת והחלו לעבוד בישרוטל במשרה מלאה. אחד מהם ועוד שתי עולות מיטבתה יתחילו בשבוע הקרוב את ללמוד בקורס המלונאות של האוניברסיטה.
נאחל להם ולכל יתר העולים (כל אחד בדרכו שלו) הצלחה בהמשך הדרך.
